Some readers lack standard, it's sad.

He oversaw the X-Men line when they were at their lowest too.

They are delusional enough to imagine that even with Paul around they can do it.
comment in response to post
This need to distinguish himself indicates to me that he doesn't hate Paul at all and is just saying that because he knows that otherwise no one wants to read his book. These are just empty words.

I don't know. Honestly, I just can't be optimistic and I can't help but imagine the worst scenario with these books.

Flash liking MJ is one thing, but teasing a relationship between them is another thing entirely. And personally, I don't trust this creative team at all.
comment in response to post
Let's hope so, but I increasingly feel like I'm being taken for a fool by several creators.

If it keeps Peter and MJ apart and creates conflict, chances are they'll do it.

I'd rather it be just a team-up than a fight, we just had Brave New World where the hero fought a Hulk. It would be a bit repetitive.

The thing is, personally, I don't really care how "editorials really feels Paul", what I do care about is what they do with him and they clearly don't seem to want to get rid of him. It's too easy to claim something and do the opposite.

I saw your work.

I'm still not convinced they're not just trying to drag things out until people give up and it becomes the new normal.

Not incompetence, out of spite.

Oh please, we all know you wish she was dead.
comment in response to post
Not really. But like I said before, let's agree to disagree because I won't change my mind and neither will you.
comment in response to post
No. The two are not comparable in any way.

Every time he is promoted, it is at the expense of others.
comment in response to post
Let's agree to disagree, because I don't see when Marvel stopped promoting Wolverine above anyone else.
comment in response to post
It's not a problem for me. I'm much more bothered by the 40+ years of Wolverine taking the spotlight all to himself.

There's a fine line between focusing on one character and making sure another one looks like a loser.
comment in response to post
With what we've had so far, him dumping MJ is the most likely scenario if there is a breakup, which I'm not convinced about at all.
comment in response to post
If we take the X-Men films, which are for many their only point of reference for the characters, then Wolverine's popularity has come partly at the expense of Cyclops.

Is this a leak or just speculation?

I had a vision of horror but what if they made a relationship between Mary Jane and Eddie.

So what he says are just empty promises. Like when he said that issue #6 would make us happy.
comment in response to post
Sorry, but I just don't believe him.
comment in response to post
At this point, I'll believe it when I see it. We were supposed to like what happened in issue #6.
comment in response to post
I prefer to assume that it will be even worse and that they won't even be broken up.
comment in response to post
Based on what's just been published, it's more likely that MJ is the one getting dumped.
comment in response to post
It's just thirst trap.
comment in response to post
Gomez brought it upon himself when he said we would like issue #6.

If I wanted to be charitable I would say that if he drew with both hands for once maybe he would have realized that Ewing or White took him for an idiot. But I don't want to, he knew what he was doing.
comment in response to post
And he says this in front of Robbie as if it's his business.
comment in response to post
I hate this fucking line that's only there to make us think they're fucking or at least they used to.
comment in response to post
Yes, I have serious doubts that it was written with good intentions for her.
comment in response to post
Why would he have made the Jackpot device for her if he could kill her directly with the right combination.
comment in response to post
I'm going to be annoying but Shitface wanting to kill her makes absolutely no sense. Especially after the last 3 years of publications and if the excuse is that he wanted to kill her before getting to know her better, it still doesn't make sense.
comment in response to post
I've said it before, but for them, if it means keeping them apart, any excuse is good enough.
