You said you didn't do the superbosses, but did you look up a video of the chapter 4 one? Some of their fight dialog seems to imply that some heavy shit's going down there in chapter 5.

Don't know if you found/saw it, but examining the side of the shop next to his truck there's a window to the basement. From the description it seems like he's got one of those red-string conspiracy boards down there.

Deltarune is just so good though. I've had Castle Funk playing on repeat almost constantly since I finished ch4. It's taken the record from Big Shot, and I fucking love Big Shot.

Starting over from scratch and having all the story and character beats just rolling in at the correct pacing without having years in between would have been the "right" move, but I totally get trying to juggle other games (hell, I was also playing Stellaris at the same time) and work stealing time.

I did a fresh start at release since it had been so long since playing 1+2, which is mostly why it took me so long to finish (that and having to restart ch 3 halfway in, with unknown hours trying to beat the Knight). Tenna's everything right after Queen was an experience, let me tell you. 😄
