I just started, I don't know yet, but my heart feels it's a good choice for now : )
I'm just sad to not draw as much as before ^^' but I need a mini break I think

I start from totally anew, so I pass from a senior to a junior which is weird at my age, but I regret nothing in the end <3
thanks a lot;;

I tried my best to make it short but I have so much to say.
I saw many of my leads doing burnouts, colleagues too, tbh I may have done some as well, I was just not conscious about them.
I just recommend to people to take care of themselves, it's more important than everything

Also, if you want to know about the last studio, they are actually bankrupted, so it tells everything.
Thanks for have listened 🙇♀️, I wanted to be more specific about the vague stuff I was saying recently and the real reasons of my decision.
Can't wait to draw more soon : ) and learn a lot aaa

...that's also why, I apology, I won't show as much illustrations I used to for some time, as I'm still learning and training a lot a🙇♀️. But in 3 days only I definitely feel better treated than in 8 years of hard work.
I will of course continue to draw, but for myself and own projects (or friends) :)

And it's not a situation I used to see 8 years ago, nobody can be laid off here from day to another without even your lead at your side. That's why I decided to leave animation for some time, for my wellbeing and the anxiety it managed to give me.
I decided to do another job and just started

...and for the first time in 8 years, I said "no", I can't do more.
I didn't know if my lead was aware of it, but she came to see me, I guess because of the face I was doing the full day. ( ^^")
And as you can imagine : she didn't know I was laid off, and told be nobody did the quotas anyway

They asked me if we could chat (in the middle of the open space) to tell me that I was not doing enough (and too much paid) (while I did extra free hours to compensate) so since they couldn't lower my pay legally speaking, I had to do more.
I thought during 1 day about what to do...

Unfortunately, they decided to changed the software we had to work on at the last minute, and the whole pipeline as well. I did attend a training that wasn't even in a production environnement and accepted a not-so-good-pay-for-what-I-do because I was motivated to learn.
After few months...

...I couldn't stop think about it and re-question my skills, as the artist I am deep inside me.
So while questionning myself I took a no-so-easy test to challenge me on another production and the lead took me.
It made me challenge my impostor feeling, and I said yes to work to another city

However, in 2023, I got laid-off after 1 year on a production for a serie that got so many problems you can't imagine (we even changed director) and for the reason that I "wasn't good enough" for the surprise of my own team. It let a mark, and I learnt the real reasons later, but I even knowing it..

I was a background artist for 8 years now, my speciality is the Line Layout, even if I had positions where I did color as well several times : )
I actually loved my job even if the conditions were sometimes hard, as I love to work with a team and I can endure hard conditions.
