Usually is.

Watching this game has been cruel and unusual punishment.

Slavin: 0 goals against for the whole tournament. Absolutely crazy stat.

Slavin or Jarvis ( if Cooper remembers he has more than 2 lines he can roll) OT winner please.

Until the NHL stops giving the Norris to whichever defenseman scores the most, he will always be underrated at a national level. No one shuts down the other team as effectively and takes as few penalties. He's like a second goalie out there.

They are a minor improvement on search engines for exponentially higher costs. There are very good models for doing very specific things like the ones used in scientific research, but the generalized LLMs used by the public at large are a waste of energy. They need more time to bake.

AI is exactly that, a tool. It is not a replacement for education or learned skills. Any tool in the hands of an expert is better than in that of an amateur, no matter how much the tool may shrink that skill gap. AI is a shortcut to the how, not the why. And the why is far more important.

Gambling with tax-payer money. NC Republicans are fucking this state.

And the Stanley Cup playoff is the best playoff. Not even close.

Canes should sign Vejmelka in the offseason. I think he and Pyotr would be great friends lol.
comment in response to post
If you're gonna take that penalty at least do something to earn it.

If you're a goaltender...

This. The shot was very deceptive. Toe drag around the defender, then shot back against the grain. Maybe if PK is a little further out he gets it. But its certainly not a soft goal. Just a great shot.

Let Morrow run the PP you cowards!

Burns's friendly fire broke the new shiny toy.... that'll go over well with a certain portion of the fanbase.
comment in response to post
If he can't get it up, they make a pill for that

Can't hit the net, but can hit the all-star winger you just traded for.
comment in response to post
Well, this is embarrasing.

Whole team is snakebit. Someone go get a chicken....
comment in response to post
At this point just put Staal and Martinook out there. Then the other team won't get a 2 minute break.

More like cash flop

I think the Wild had the better chances. Canes may have had more shots, but many of them were easy saves.

Orlov just lost out there...

After watching the replay, gonna strongly disagree with you there. PK has his skate jammed on the post. The only reason the puck goes in is because Kupari shoves PK's skate with his stick. That is still goaltender interference. You can't push the goalie and move him like that.
comment in response to post
Yea, that misses the part where PK's skate is shove over the line... Is the league not capable of looking at a whole play to make a ruling?
comment in response to post
Dundon should go ahead and write the check....
comment in response to post
Not only that, he shoves PKs skate off the post.
comment in response to post
If you call that a goal after you waived off the one in the first, then you can just throw the rulebook away.
comment in response to post
If that's called a goal, someone send Toronto a fucking rulebook.
comment in response to post
If the league got rid of the rule banning goalies from crossing center ice, I legit believe PK would be a scoring threat.
comment in response to post
If by "initiate contact" we mean "was pushed"...

At this point NHL fans should file a class action lawsuit to get GI defined...

Thom Tillis should be charged with treason.

First one I played? 2. At my grandparent's house during summer vacations in Upstate NY. First one that was "mine" at home? 6. Probably the console I played the most (other than GameBoy). So many classics.

Morrow is free to be called up and down as much as the Canes want. Given the time of year, there is risk of losing Stillman to waivers, and the Canes probably like him enough to not want to risk it.
comment in response to post
I think Stillman's waiver exemption is expiring.

My question is who is coming out and why? Is it just an insurance policy?
comment in response to post
Theyre running on fumes right now.

One of those games where the calls/bounces are largely going against them. Not exactly a fun viewing experience.

That seems not good...

PK needs to close the 5-hole there. Not great.
