I have always seen it in lush areas near rivers, and I noticed there was a cluster of records on NBN along the Wye downstream of Hay

Similar, Lydia, but a different species, it usually has pale pink of white flowers but sometimes like this with a dark red spot

Nice grey collar, grey looking tones, white pp bases extend quite close to wing edge. I am out of touch these days so best ask someone else but this is a good look at a few Ficedula from an influx to Spain. subalpinebirding.com/blog/shades-...

I checked out the site with that superficially okay looking Poa last year again, in case there was a mix as well as just annua, but there was virtually nothing there.
