I’m grateful for my remote gig, I like my job and love where I work. But some days I really miss access to an afternoon beers and bitch session. Like sometimes you just need to be sitting around a table and say “WTF is up with <insert annoyance” and get a reassuring response of “I know, right”

Honestly I was not sold on @marathonthegame.bungie.net based on the trailers. ( I'm old enough to have played the original) But after watching several streams of the Alpha I think I'm back on board. Lots of interesting ideas, and the aesthetic works well with the smooth frame rate.

I really want an MLB park here, and that is a great location/concept. But no way in hell should any public money be spent. This ball park won’t result in any sort of ‘trickle down’ economic boost, and our city has too many existing budget and management challenges.

I like this platform, but it’s developing a real bot problem. I get new follows daily that are obviously some form of bot account. I know I can attempt to report the accounts, but honestly I just want a feature to remove followers.

Even though TikTok is ‘back’ it’s worth being really honest about the end outcome here. There isn’t going to be a repeal of the law, nor a reversal of the Supreme Court ruling. This is going to be a divestment, best case to Meta, but you can bet Musk wants it, as likely some other crony.
