A decade ago, I worked for a sizable e-commerce startup. A joke we had for anyone new was, "Where can you hide a dead body? On page 2 of Google search results." Our intent was clear - get to the top of the page, SEO first but PPC if necessary. Not sure it matters as much now. Google fumbled it.

Just saw the window of my former bedroom (some nearly 20 years removed) on the local TV broadcast...as the site of a murder earlier today. When people don't believe me when I tell them that Denver was no more dangerous, or even less so, than most other places I lived, this is what I mean.

I don't really like to buy stuff, because I'm going to have to move all of it in a year or thereabouts. It's just more clutter to haul around. The notable exception to this has been vinyl. I manage to buy up a record every now and then, but then I went nearly deaf via a couple perforated eardrums.
