If you require aftercare, it’s your responsibility to communicate that need. Don’t assume it will happen just because it’s common. Your needs are valid, but they’re yours to advocate for. 4/5

What is mandatory? Discussing aftercare during negotiations. That’s where consent lives. If you agree to provide aftercare, follow through. If not, that’s okay—as long as everyone is informed and on the same page. 3/5

We don’t force anyone to do something they don’t want to do, and that includes aftercare. It’s perfectly valid to not want or need aftercare, no matter your role. Some people feel fine without it, and some Doms or Tops may not offer it. That doesn’t make anyone less real or responsible. 2/5
