Today I had the privilege to stay home, didn’t shop online, instacarted our groceries yesterday since I’m still 🤧, made grilled ham&cheese sammiches for dinner, watched a DVD of True Lies for entertainment instead of streaming anything, and 🤢 at the POTUS 🇺🇦 news. We’ll see if the boycott helps.

Last night I watched Runaway Jury in memory of Gene Hackman. It’s on a platform we already subscribe to and didn’t have ads, and is a great movie about doing an end run around jury consultants and the gun industry in the 90’s, and Mr. Hackman was excellent as the villain as always. Well worth it.

This is the Princess doing a perfect impersonation of me still being sick. I took myself back to the health center for another eval and different meds. I think my cold is finally gone, but an underlying sinus infection has taken firm hold and is laying me low. So, yeah. Zzzzzz

Appropriate tee for today. Woke up this morning still feeling very crummy with my “just a cold.” (Thanks to the overworked nurse who didn’t read my chart so just asked me to explain CVID for being dismissive of my immuno def.) Maybe a nap might help. I’ll be missing the birthday party next door. 😷

Alas no Ymir for us. The winds of the storm last weekend seem to have stirred up a cough/cold & a 2ndary ear infection in me that has been lingering. I responsibly went to the health center on Tues to get tested, Cov-FluAB-Strep all neg, but couldn’t get an antibiotic Rx w/ their internet out.
