That’s true, but I don’t think what we need from our elected representatives is support. That can be better served by community. They have an actual role to play and I’m just not sure that they are doing that, which is why I asked the question.

I hear a lot of the same old stuff, and a whole lot more criticism of Democrats from them than real condemnation of Republicans and no real concrete ways to make a difference. I also don’t see much diversity in the crowds. It does feel like self aggrandizement.

I don’t find it weird, it makes sense to me because it’s based on hatred of Jews, not on actual facts. They won’t even listen to Palestinians, they don’t know which river or sea, they parrot Hamas talking points, and they tanked Harris’ campaign. Antisemitism mixed with a savior complex. Ugly.
