I've shown A Dark, Quiet Death to my girlfriend last night, she hasn't watched any MQ beforehand. Obviously, she adored it 😊

The best shows make it seem easy to achieve that which is actually hard, and I feel like MQ is definitely one of those!

Can we vote on the villain, though? Because I think I have a slam-dunk candidate!

Oh, you've been through S03 already? How did you like it?

The same could be said about Jesse Eisenberg, he employs similar methods to approach vastly different roles. Sure, both his Zuckerberg and his Toby Fleischman talk quiet and fast, but they're not even remotely similar. That's like holding Tom Cruise's charisma against him!

We're talking about people like Musk calling others the r-word or Trump mocking the way people talk or laughing at their health issues. They're 12-year old boys, and now they're in charge of basically everything. This is a cruel horror show, not politics.

So many parts of this film hit me personally (the absent father, the relationship with the grandma, the need to be the court jester) that it completely destroyed me emotionally. RW being THE pop star of my childhood helped, too. I can't judge it in any way, but... Thru this lens ☺️

Been burned too many times, eh? 😄 Ok, let's reconvene in another 9 years and see the landscape (although the Fight Club legacy does not give me a lot of hope)

Btw is talking about it still actually difficult today? Isn't 9 years enough time for the world to move on? I feel like the subject changed to the Snyder cut and not that many people care about BvS 🤔

Yup! And that model used to be very sustainable, not every game had to break the bank to keep the studio afloat, because "oh no we've spent millions of dollars on the open world assets and countless quests". There still are such games (A Plague Tale, for example), but the proportions are waaay off 😮‍💨

I have a weird nostalgia for the "bad", or just lower-budget games from the X360, such as the countless cover-shooters with different sci-fi premises, linear levels, etc. I'll take Quantum Theory or Fracture over a modern Ubi-game any day! 😂 And yeah, that offline aspect helped, as well!

It would be so funny if PlayStation replied to each email saying "well, fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity, it's called Xbox 360."

Loved this show! In season 3, they touch on a rather serious topic without shying away from all of its "usually not talked about on TV" aspects. And they do so in a very warm and lovely yet complex way, without misery porn, which is rare!

Maybe before the Europeans got there? 😉

It was filmed in Lublin and Warsaw, two cities I've ever lived in, so watching it in a theater packed with people focused on pointing out every single location was surreal. A little taste of what you LA folks must feel every movie, I guess 😂 anyways, the film was super good!
