Genuinely one of the first things you get taught in scuba is that you MUST KEEP BREATHING AT ALL TIMES. If you hold your breath that far underwater, the shifting water pressure above you will pop your lungs. Especially if you're ascending.

I've done very rudimentary caving, and I have an entry level scuba qualification. Never the two shall meet. Getting through restrictions is bad without having air tanks strapped to me, and a finite supply of said air. Scuba and caving individually are very dangerous. Combined is just foolhardy.

Having the interhouse athletics during the day in late January at a sizzling 33°C/91°F and very little shade is how. It is by the grace of SPF50 that I don't look like a cooked fuckin shramp rn. Definitely not my usual lily white though.
