I've been rumbled by my cat. Today I'm taking her to the cattery and true to form she seems to know and changes her behaviour pattern by not coming home at her usual time. I have no idea how she can sense that she's going away and does her best to avoid me.

Seems that I'm back on track with my intermittent fasting. I've now broken through my psychological barrier of 20 hours. I've been struggling for the past 3 weeks to get back into this level of fasting. I'm dry fasting, I feel pretty good though my mouth feels like the bottom of a budgie's cage.

It's 23:00. I've just weighed myself 15st 5.35lb ( 215.25 lb / 97.84 ). I'm dry fasting for 72 hours, I started at 18:00 today. Let's see what the results will be on Wednesday.

Let's see if I can get back into this. I was intermittent fasting for a few months doing a 20:4 keto diet. 2 weeks ago I fell off the wagon & ended up eating junk. I feel physically terrible. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm now going to try a 2nd attempt at the Phoenix protocol.

A grand day out putting the B'Twin E Fold 500 through a real world test to see how long the 7ah 36v battery would last. It was a miserable day with an average air temperature of 4C which obviously impacts on the battery. I managed to clock up 60km before the battery gave up the ghost.

Finally after two week of purchasing my Decathlon B'Twin E Fold 500 I had the chance to take it out for a ride & I love it. It's such an easy & comfortable bike to ride even with the pedal assist switched off. At one point I managed to crank it to 37km/h on the flat which was pretty good going.

Fallen at the first hurdle. I was hoping to be anti-social for the next three days but then a friend I haven't seen in months calls round for coffee. Bang goes the dry fast. I'll do my usual 20 hour fast today then start the dry fast again this afternoon.

Started the Phoenix protocol at 19:57 last night. Let's see how this goes. I'll document how I feel here. A soft dry fast, 72 hours with no food or water. Monday 07:10 Just woken up and I'm craving a cup of Joe but that's just habit and mild addiction, I can work past that.
