Kentucky Senate quickly passes HB 1 to cut the state's individual income tax rate from 4% to 3.5% in 2026. It now goes to Gov. Beshear for his signature. He has said he would sign it. This is the first bill to head to the governor in the #kyga25 session. Vote was 34-3, most Democrats voted yes.
