I’m not a superhero. That’s for billionaires and narcissists. And adult orphans for some reason.

Oh my god, do I wish it had been me. The headline would have read "DOGE goons fucking hospitalized after putting their hands on local civil service employee - stapler lodged deep within colon" www.thedailybeast.com/doge-goons-p...

I was adopted, and my name changed, before I was a legal adult. The SAVE act will make it nearly impossible for me to vote. I've spent years tracking down my birth certificate and adoption papers. I was born in Florida. I've paid taxes for 25 years.

Can’t hurt to ask.

The Dem position should be "absolutely not." If Trump wants to keep his tariffs then helping farmers means restoring USAID, restoring all the food assistance grants/contracts killed by DOGE, and expanding programs like SNAP. We're not going to hand out money to watch food rot.

This story gets so much worse. The trans woman who she refused to fence only finished in 24th place. Stephanie, the forfeiter, also beat *multiple* cis men in a regional match just one week earlier! And conservatives just paid her $5k for her kneel. Why is nobody talking about this?

this is straightforwardly concentration camp stuff. just in very plain terms: we send people to camps now if we, the government, deem it necessary, without due process. you can file a habeas petition in the united states district court with jurisdiction over el salvador, i guess.

Senator Cassidy's staff kicked us out of the office. Did you know that 97 countries pledged or offered help during Hurricane Katrina? Does he think he'll be offered aid next time, now that we don't participate in the international humanitarian system? Now that the US is freeloading?

GOOD Gum it up until Rubio coughs up some fucking answers about whether well even do diplomacy anymore.

I scanned dozens of newspapers from around the U.S. & world. On average, international newspapers cover the widespread protests against Trump/Musk and for democracy much more prominently on their covers than those in the U.S. This isn’t due to deadlines, protests were daytime in the U.S. #handsoff

The placement of the protest story here is especially egregious when you compare to other big city papers who gave it a big above the fold splash.

We didn’t send a DART, but the USAID team we *did* send, we…fired. While they were there, doing what we sent them for.

After destroying everything I've ever represented, at this point I'm just waiting for Trump to appoint someone to dig up my childhood dog so they can ruin those memories too.
