I think Toto likes Mick as a person, but not as a driver - so he tried to find him a seat. If another team was just looking for a competent body to fill a seat, Mick is a decent choice. Plus the name brings some sponsors, I’m sure
But there were so many better options options out there

That Toyota Gazoo partnership in the last few races was incredible. Hulkenberg drove that upgraded car so well, so I can only imagine how well it will improve the 2025/26 cars. Komatsu is seriously becoming a fantastic Team Principal.

This was my preference as well, but for some reason, Tsunoda always gets the worst end of any RB/VCARB deal.

Agreed. He’s a very capable driver and all he needs is a good car and friendly teammate for the long haul. I think 2024 showed that Haas is giving him a fair chance at both, if he’ll play nicely. And I think he will. Could be Ocon’s year for some serious podiums.

RIGHT??? Horner better be careful…if he doesn’t pick Yuki, they might return after the holidays to find Milton Keynes on fire and Yuki holding a gas can. I can’t see him hanging around the RB family if they treat him like that.
Maybe Honda will pull him out and make Aston replace Stroll with him.

The more I read about Chapman, the more of an understated legend I find out he was. Truly an icon.

He certainly seems more well received by Haas than he was at Alpine. I really hope him & Bearman can work together to push Haas up the standings.
