Why aren't (most) Democrats responding as is required to the hostile takeover of our government? They are presently only hearing from their customers (voters) and not the people who hired them (donors). Corporate America is so far quiet about the coup. Want Dems to step up? Pressure their donors.

LTEs like this speak to the prospect that Susan Collins votes for bonkers picks like Kennedy and Gabbard may break thru to Mainers who don't follow #MEpolitics as closely as folks on here, who may have bought her fake brand till now. IMHO it's important to welcome these folks and not dunk on them

Again, the two most impactful lies of the past half-century have been “Trump is a good businessman” and “Republicans are the good-at-economy party”

Thinking that Trump is a businessman let alone one possessing any sort of acumen is such self-deception. This person was played like a comb kazoo.

Happy to pass it on.

Black history is only offensive if you side with enslavers, segregationists, and other racists. It slaps if you have morality.

Ah, the 1930s Germany frame. But in the post-reconstruction era, America had Jim Crow, the resegregation of the federal workforce, and deadly pogroms against black people in the South. We’ve been here before. It’s just it didn’t happen to white people. Where do yall think Germany learned from?

Watch out, he loves to chisel stuff off buildings

If you somehow needed another reason never to read @axios.com, they’ve announced that they stand ready and willing to do whatever Trump tells them to do

The trip from their lips to the dictator’s steatopygic buttocks begins with such small steps.

I never cease to wonder if these electeds are capable of thinking from A to B. Much less the rest of the alphabet.

Whistling by the graveyard…

People who write about "this is the wrong fight to pick," never ever actually fight for anything. Feel free to ignore them.
