What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and they carrying signs
Mostly say, "Hooray for our side"
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
Step out of line, the men come and take you away

Yes, first ever ever! I've only learned to knit this year. I've got this vintage book from the 50s that I'm following. Although I started with a 9" circular needle, when this book teaches with double-pointed needles. I saw the same pattern on revelry when I looked for sock patterns

There's a speed loom I've seen folks use for darning, but I haven't tried it myself. I looped my sleeve in a small embroidery hoop and just used a needle and pearl cotton going first one direction and then weaving in the second direction.

The yarn recommends a 3mm needle, and I wanted a smaller size for the ankle ribbing. My previous pair of socks I made with a 9in 2.5mm circular, which was okay until the decreases for the toe became too narrow, so I had to swap for double-pointed needles.

So I got the 60cm cables (which was a mistake) in 2mm and 3mm. I cast on, but working the first row was difficult, so I went back and ordered the 80cm. I hope that those will work better. I'm only just starting, and these are only my 3rd & 4th needles I've bought.

I've been going through and watching some of your videos from a year ago, and was not expecting the sudden transition to straight blond hair in that gunnesaxoween. Binging your videos has been fun
