Some think the pragmatic thing to do right now is for Ukraine to agree to whatever deal Trump-Russia work out just so the war stops. This is wishful thinking, ignorance, or malice. Stopping the war is not on offer! Ru wants to take all of Ukraine and all it’s offering now is…

This is the way… “The elected officials in Washington have to stop protesting in Washington. They have to go back to their districts…show the consequences…show the school that isn’t operating…they have to make it real.” With social media, word will spread to neighboring districts—even red ones.

The nature of “shock and awe” is that it makes it hard to see or think clearly. What’s playing out through a veneer of chaos is a deliberate tactical program to create a system in which the President has sole authority over the entire executive branch: www.newyorker.com/news/the-led...

U.S. Rep. Rich McCormick was peppered with boos and catcalls throughout a town hall meeting in Roswell late Thursday, as hundreds of critics jeered the Republican for backing President Donald Trump’s agenda during his first month in office. #gapol ajc.com/politics/mcc...

Murphy: "There's no separation between the Kremlin & the White House right now. The White House is a full-time Kremlin propaganda operation..there's a real probability American troops are going to have fight abroad to protect the global world order & our allies & perhaps American sovereignty itself"

Love this guy

The cabinet must invoke the 25th amendment and remove Elon Musk from office

Here’s the thing about the White House banishing the AP that makes me crazy How does the rest of the White House press corps not understand that the AP is a proxy for *all the rest of them?

Hey @mcuban.bsky.social you have some good ideas, are energetic & empathetic.I know you value creativity & likely believe there are no stupid questions. Was the point of this question to promote solidarity in those being screwed by billionaires? If not, don’t waste your political capital.

REMINDER: The single biggest driver of our national debt since 2001 has been **Republican** tax cuts.

Of course. But being the party standing up for those fired will mean a lot to those fired and their families. It will also show the country that they are trying to bring order to chaos. And if they can get any Republican support at all, that's huge leverage for March 14

Russia launched an unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022. Since then, thousands of Ukrainians have perished. Entire towns and cities reduced to rubble. It will take them decades to recover, if at all. For Trump to casually flip the narrative via tweet is beyond disgusting.

🗣️ @aoc.bsky.social out fighting for the people & federal workers: “Every day our job is to wake up and say ‘what can I do today?’ — There is no act too small. Every action matters.” 🇺🇸

He will burn down whatever he can, however he can Our systems of governance, rule of law, global alliances, even the Constitution. Consumed by vengeance and greed, he is the greatest threat to our Republic since its founding. We must meet this moment with the force of a thousand suns. Or perish.

Someone should tell Crockett the next step is to destroy the blue states. The plan is to make us all indentured servants to oligarchs and do away with government. The government won’t be needed to serve people if the people are in servitude to the oligarchs.

Two more years of not going to Yankee games. Well, with a recession coming on I guess I should save the money anyway. Billionaires/Millionaires screwing up everything.

Exactly: “It’s all but certain that many [Sullivan & Cromwell] lawyers are unhappy with the firm’s decision to become part of the Trump regime anti-rule of law machine, and for good reason. Apart from the sheer immorality of the firm’s choice … [a] starkly pragmatic question is also presented:”

If the justice system is gutted, and replaced by a regime where cronyism makes adherence to laws optional, who will want to hire skilled lawyers trained to counsel clients on complying with the law? That's a question lawyers thinking about joining Trump's attack on the rule of law should be asking.
