We’ve normalised a political climate where mocking your own constituents for being queer, Palestinian, or visibly different is a winning move. That’s not democracy functioning. That’s epistemic decay, where truth and dignity are replaced by clicks and clout.

I live in a neighborhood in Amsterdam where my Jewish neighbors were abducted like this between 1941 and 1943. After 1943 no Jews were left to ambush.

Indeed, the Dutch did participate in the US led mission Prosperity Guardian by sending the fregat Zr.Ms. Tromp. So did many other European countries. Do they even know?

I just did. Joe Biden voted for it and he was even instrumental shaping the Patriot Act. In 1995 he introduced the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act (S. 390), which was quite similar to the Patriot Act. Oklahoma bombing.

I manage a webshop but I refuse to activate Klarna as a payment option. If you don’t have the money, don’t place an order in my webshop. Spent it on something else.

Such a treaty should also include countries in the pacific plus Japan and South-Korea. The Koreans are already selling us the K2 black panther and the K9.

Indeed. I tried to buy real Lapsang souchong and they didn’t even want to sell it to me. Too rare, she preferred to keep it for herself. It would have been too expensive anyway.
