NYC MOVIE REC: Drop Dead City, a wonky but totally riveting doc about the 1970s fiscal crisis and how Gotham barely averted bankruptcy. Great unseen footage and lots of smart talking heads, many who were in the rooms, others in the know like former Squawkin’ Sports Live guest Kevin Baker. At IFC.
