Anime history- here's a series on Tezuka's studio. He's usually blamed for the abysmal pay that anime creators make because Astro Boy sold below cost. But he retained copyright. He made money from every Astro toy and piece of bubblegum. And that was a LOT of product. animetudes.com/2023/04/07/m...

Started watching Wedding Peach (1995). 2 episodes so far. First impression is that it's fun and goofy, but it's got some good things going on. She's clever, doesn't whine and cry like Usagi. I like the #Precure narrative more- stepping up with no powers, saying "NO!", THEN the magic. #MagicalGirl
