That’s funny…cause I thought he did wear two hats. The first hat being his role as senator for the people of New York.

I’m getting annoyed by this pedantic discussion. Okay maybe Jamelle could have used different language but frankly I think it’s a stupid thing for STEMthebleeding to have pounced on and he also misinterpreted the point IMO. If you ck his (STEM’s) feed he knows better than anyone about everything.

No my entire complaint is that Schumer hasn’t modified his behavior nor his language one iota. Following the rules is important. But he’s not connecting the dots for people as, say Chris Murphy does. Schumer is trucking along exactly as he has for decades. No sense of urgency. No ideas.

Alternate reality check. Not a single Dem voter told our reps to work w/ Trump. He couldn’t even pull off a majority win. The first rule in working with abusers (Trump, his cult, Project 2025, etc) is to get the abused to safety (the US) and then deal with the abuser. That’s where we are right now.

No one is talking about using one or the other. You can follow the rules and at the same time fight the abusers. jeeze

Who said that? Our congressional reps began 2.0 talking about working across the aisle. Very little pushback to his xo’s because ’he won a fair election’. Media created normalcy. Truth telling over acceptance of lies and abuse is hardly burning it all down

That’s just stupid.

Jamelle specifically mentioned the first 2 months of the admin. In 2017 we were in the streets almost every weekend from the very beginning. Our congressional reps were howling all. the. time. Contrast that with the first two months of 2.0. Nada. And our reps were bending over to work “bi-laterally”

Here's the thing though. While it's good to think ahead like that we're still two years away from a possible Dem majority. Look what's happened in just 100 days. Following old standards of political operations can not be the only thing he does as minority leader.

Did they also mention how they will make this family whole again?

FYI Schumer can’t subpoena anyone because he’s the minority leader.

This is the second or maybe even third time they've run an article like this (with different 2024 'new' Trump voters each time). And yet the Times has still been unable to connect the dots. How many more is it going to take? jeeze

Coming in for Cornwall. When you take a bite the cream coats your palet and allows the jam to filter through slowly and lusciously. Of course.

I couldn't press the quote post button fast enough! Thanks for making the abuse these people live for so clear.

Looking at the graph it seems more like a 50/50 split.

Thanks for this Steve. I had read the dissent and though I’m not a lawyer it just didn’t sit right with me, felt a bit shady and sort of over explained-like he was tripping over himself and his words to make his points. Now I understand why.

They are all abusers who revel in abusing. It gives them a rush, a hard on. The first rule in dealing with abusers is to get the abused to safety - in this case the entire US - and then deal harshley with the abusers themselves. It's soul destroying to realize how far away we are from doing that.

I’ll take him at his word for now but with a grain of salt. Read his other posts.

The baseline question is...how can we trust that the job numbers are real/accurate? They're withholding any and all info they don't want us to access. How can we trustg these numbers?

Give it a minute. Stellanis announced laying off 900; Whirlpool laying off 650. Hasn’t even been 24 hours yet.
