Took my cat to the vet today for an annual checkup. He's not sure about it but he's okay.

If Mikayla Raines's harassers were on some site like 4chan, it would be named in every headline. But because they were mainly on Reddit and Tumblr, every story I've read just says "online" bullying and harassment. WHERE did the harassment take place? Where were the "sneakers" posting? Report it.

It's great that news sites are reporting on the tragic suicide of Mikayla Raines, but until they start naming the websites where the bullying and harassment took place (Reddit, Tumblr, Facebook), nothing will change. "Snarkers" will just keep harassing people and trying to ruin their lives.

If you devote your online time to attacking someone, you don't care about their mental health. You don't care about them becoming a "better person." You just want to take them down. A lot of people on Reddit, Facebook, and Tumblr should stop pretending they had a noble goal. tribune.com.pk/story...

youtu.be/8qlJir9a1zk When will @Reddit take action against "snark" communities on its platform? Snarkers only make the site worse. They spread hatred, dox, harass, lie. When will enough be enough? This woman's snark subreddit has gone private, but the actors behind it should face consequences.

My newsletter passed 700 subscribers! Thank you to everyone who's joined. I just switched services, so my old link is dead. Here is the new join link: http://bit.ly/Planar... I have three books for my series in the works; a prequel and the third book drafted, a fourth book half-drafted. #Books

I'm currently in a battle with the jasmine rice of my chicken and rice. I turned the temperature down too much at the start.

Having Rexall brand dental floss in my car is worse than having no floss.

I've finished drafting the first act of the final novel in my series. I have no idea if the pacing is too quick or off. This is what beta readers and an editor are for. 🤣😭 #AMWriting

I love semicolons and I don't care who knows it.

I have written 14 chapters for the fourth (final) book in my series and expanded and created several lore documents. 😩 Only 21 chapters and a prologue and epilogue to go, unless I need to add more extra chapters. #AMWriting

I am out of class until May 27 and can therefore neglect my dissertation for a few weeks. My goal is to draft most of the fourth book in my series. I'm up to chapter 12. Only 23 to go, along with a prologue and an epilogue, provided I don't add more chapters. (Already added two.) Pain! #AMWriting

I've read 70% of a book but now I'm tired of it because the dialogue and characterization for two major characters isn't enjoyable. However, I am still interested in the ending. Should I make myself finish it or read a summary of the ending and move on? Lol.

I like that we are getting new vampire films that are outright horror. I would like to see vampires more decoupled from romance and YA. They are cool. Lots of things to explore!

My confession: I have never read Lord of the Rings and I don't really like the movies. (I also haven't read A Song of Ice and Fire.) I actually much prefer watching and reading horror and thrillers and nonfiction to fantasy. Might delete later. 🤣

I have read about why so many movies and shows now are based on books, but it is baffling how the thing most people want, adherence to the source material, is something adapters almost always refuse to do. Just follow the source material as best you can. That's it! That's all most people want!

Going to see Until Dawn then Sinners tonight, in that order. 😁

I haven't published since 2022, but for my series, I've drafted a prequel, a third book, I've done seven chapters of the fourth (final book), and half a novella (or short novel) in the same universe. I hope to publish one or two this year. 😬 I'll have to remind my mailing list who I am! #AMWriting

I've written over 15K words since last week on the fourth book in my series. All I had to do was finish my ~50K word outline and now it's pouring out. 😁 I hope everyone else is finding their muse! #AMWriting

All my Planar Lost series novels get progressively longer. However, I'm starting to think the last book may be two times or more longer than the third book, which is itself about twice as long as the first book. Should I split the fourth novel into two books or does this seem fine? 😱 #AMWriting

My newsletter subscribers passed 600 this month! Now I am waiting for MailerLite to send me my migration package so I can save money by leaving MailChimp. I've requested it twice with no reply yet! #WritingCommunity

Anyone else enjoy making very complicated book outlines but then start to feel overwhelmed by them? 🤣😭 I'm finishing the outline for the final book in my series and embattled by my own desires ! #WritingCommunity

I just published Writing Authentic Medieval Armor in Fiction medium.com/writersde... Via The Fiction Writer's Den publication. #WritingCommunity

I've written 10K words since last Friday for a fantasy horror novel in my setting. 😭 I got a sickness and it's procrastinating on writing what I should write by writing something else, lol. #AMWriting

How often do you start reading a book and love the first 30% or 40%, but then start to lose interest around the midway point? I suppose this could be attributed to midbook sag. I try to avoid this in my own novels by inserting climactic events in the middle and toward the end of the story.

This week, I wrote 41 pages on the history of education in my Planar Lost setting instead of anything I should be doing right now. 😭🤣 Anyone else procrastinate by writing something other than what they should be writing? #AMWriting

On the Alleged Link Between SSRIs and Mass Shootings medium.com/@PlanarLo... I decided I want to put my professional research interests to use online occasionally. This is part of a longer post I have been slowly writing on gun violence. I hope some of you may find it useful or informative.

I wrote a chapter for a prequel series to my main (unfinished) series. I'm developing projectitis. Anyway, I'm wondering if I should post some random chapters to Medium or somewhere else. Anyone else do this type of thing? #WritingCommunity

Wrote 2,300 words today for the fourth book in my series instead of finishing a presentation I need to complete by Friday. 💅🏼 #AMWriting
