Hopefully, Reddit will take some action one day against these communities in general. It's deeply disturbing how long they have allowed hateful "snarkers" to overrun the site. People should not have to die before they do something about it.

One of my research focuses is cyber harassment. Stories like the suicide of Mikayla Raines over internet bullying are very upsetting. What makes it more upsetting is that Reddit condones this type of organized harassment by allowing so-called "snark" subreddits to proliferate.

Seems to be a lot more negativity now, and some of the usual trolls have come over from X too. Or the people who got permanently banned from X are here instead. Makes me not want to post or use the app as much.
