The LDs, and Davey in particular, have learnt this through painful experience with the opposite.

Episode 2 is the weakest, but also the shortest. Andor season 1 is basically 3-4 movies, rather than 12 episodes of television.

Once Khanate rule is established, the Ministry for Trvth will make recital of that chant mandatory at the end of every biweekly DEI meeting.

In hindsight, so much of it was just…rather dull.

“…the frame carved and chased and tortured into a monstrosity of design and then flamingly gilded; the body of the table was of marble mosaic, crudely arranged in feeble classical design.” - C.S. Why do you think EV transition could save the Canadian car industry? Genuinely curious, but it seems China has even more of a competitive advantage here (i.e. BYD) than non-EV vehicles.

Yeah, I think we’re kind of screwed. There’ve been some really important, but understated, advances in e.g. medicine and more was along the way in biological computing. When the LLM hype train crashes, we’re going to suffer another AI winter because of their insane promises.

We shouldn’t reward this behaviour if the German debt brake deal isn’t secured in the coming days. Some politicians win points for barking (fine) but then proceed to inhibit the strength of its bite.

However, that still leaves tens of millions of us. There is a future worth struggling for even in gerontocracies. We have to work out how to deliver it under these historically unprecedented constraints. Failure isn't an option!

They aren't able to disable all HIMARS targeting, just the American intelligence streams used for guidance. This is not the only way these rockets are guided - for instance, any time a recon drone + HIMARS combination is used, this shouldn't matter. It will make HIMARS worse, but still functional

I’ve seen some positive movement there, but among people who are (largely) inconsequential.
