Update on Project Hadean: I’ve decided to go back and completely rework the film around a new music track, and I’ll be rendering new animations to accommodate for this. I’ve already made a new opening animation so far, which funnily enough, resembles how I envisioned it when this project started.

Henry-related post, because it’s currently the 3rd day of the 3rd month.

He’s been delayed.

Carl Sagan’s “COSMOS” series is probably the one science documentary that I would watch while wrapped in a blanket, in the couch, with a cup of hot chocolate, with the lights turned off. It’s such a comfy and cozy series, and has a certain charm that nothing else seems to have. ✨

So I saw some of TrainBoy’s recent tweets on Twitter, and I was inspired to make this:

First video on this platform involving my engine models in action. I hope Bluesky increases the video length and file size limits, so that I can upload more of these snippets on here. No there isn't a "link to game." This is a set for filming-purposes only.

I'd like to announce that I'm working on a short animated film, currently under the code name, "Project Hadean." This is a little something I've wanted to do for a while, though I haven't gotten the chance to make it happen until recently. (There's no planned release date for this short film yet)

📌 Pinned Post 📌 I like to make Roblox models of RWS characters, and I sometimes use them to record videos with. I’m not making a game with my stuff though, so don’t ask. DNI if you’re: -NSFW/suggestive -NFT supporter -Homophobic ^You will be BLOCKED if you’re any of these, or like such content.

Albert is finished! I had actually completed him last night, but didn't want to show him off until I had made a 3D face for him lol.

Already nearing completion. I just gotta do his chassis and give him a 3D face and then he’s done:

Since I’m on a Furness Railway kick, I thought I’d make a model of the other FR engine (other than Edward) who actually appeared in the RWS:

Oh how I want diagrams for these coach designs. I’d love to model them in 3D so much.

So I’ve been in a bit of a Furness Railway kick lately. (These are FR-related models I’ve had for a while, but I’ve only recently decided to give the FR’s Indian red livery)

Sunday chill music inspired by the Voyager spacecraft and from the early days of Youtube. Music composed by Rune Foshaug set to NASA footage. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na1m...

A crescent Triton (left), moon of Neptune, from Voyager 2 in 1989, and a crescent Pluto from New Horizons in 2015. This illustrates just how much rougher the surface of Pluto is than the melted-down Triton.

For Valentine's Day, I figured I'd share the big-hearted world Pluto, along with its pal, Triton, moon of Neptune.

I find it funny how the general public was getting all upset when they found out this is Neptune’s actual color, when there’s actually been a few people who already knew this years earlier lol.

The battered surface of Callisto, moon of Jupiter, as Voyager 2 flew by in 1979. She sharper appearance of the crater rims in the upper right is real, though I have no idea what the different appearance signifies.

Omg I remember having to wait a few months for my invite code to arrive, so I could make my account lol.

Here's a portrait render of planet Uranus I did about 2 years ago, because I have some cool semi-fictional 8K textures of the planet that I made, based off 2007 IR Keck photos:

I finished it.

I think that’s enough progress for tonight.

I only have 2 brake vans at my disposal for the moment, so I’m making some more just for good measure, and for some variation.

Winston my beloved ❤️

This is how the Orion constellation would appear if you sped toward it at the impossible speed of 65 light years per second. Most nearby stars flash past in an instant, but the belt stars remain in view for the longest. A bit of #sciart made with love, but mostly with #Blender and Davinci #Resolve

The music in the first 3 Wallace and Gromit films, sounds better when it’s lower in pitch. Nobody can change my mind.

In July 16-22 1994 the fragments of the comet Shoemaker/Levy 9 plunged into the atmosphere of Jupiter. I contacted experts in the field and made a digital model of the event to help compose views. One of the works I painted appeared on the August 1994 cover of Astronomy magazine. Here is that cover:

Now normally I would say that I’ve got 100 followers, but because Bluesky does not reduce your follower count should you block someone who’s following you (at least not yet), that’s not the case. I did the math, and I’ve actually blocked 26 “followers,” meaning that my ACTUAL follower count is 74.

Another prehistoric Earth render! This time we're focusing on the Sturtian glaciation, which has been hypothesized to be a "Snowball Earth" event. Essentially, this is a global glaciation where all (or at least most) of the Earth's surface, is covered with vast sheets of ice.

I am literally about to pass out, oh my god. 👀❤️ takaratomymall.jp/shop/g/g4904...

With Asteroid 2024 YR4 starting to make news, impacts come to mind. Here is my impression of the space rock that passed above the Russian city of Chelyabinsk on February 15 2013, shattering windows for miles. This digital portrayal shows an overview just before the terminal explosion.

Dinosaurs can be so cute at times. 🦖💚

I literally had the same idea a few months ago, back in October, and I went through with it. The only difference is that I transformed them into bogie coaches (as per the RWS).

A new Voyager 2 Jupiter map in the works you say? I’m interested. 👀

Is it just me, or is the “jump to the top of the page” button (or whatever it’s called lol) not working properly? It says there’s new posts, but when I tap it, nothing new appears.

Now animated! This is probably the first 3D animaton I've done in years, and I'm hoping to make these more frequently after finding out how to convert AVI files to MP4 format, while still preserving the video quality. Audio from "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage" Music by Vangelis © 2024 Planetkid32

An unusual painting, one done in luminous paints. The paints are far from optimal for detail work but they can be 'globbed on' in little piles that have decent amounts of the pigment. After charging with a UV light the pigments glow for a while, 10-15 min fairly brightly and a lot longer dimly.

Imagine going for a walk and then coming back to see this in front of your house. And then afterwards you watch what the Ring doorbell recorded. 😂

Finally finished the Midland Railway 483 class, after putting him off for about 2 months.
