In a way you have to admire Musk's PR team's skill at misinformation because they have people convinced Musk is a genius, he's not, that he is autistic, he is not and that he's a great inventor, he is not. Oh and they keep trying to make him being a drug addict sound like a good thing.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

This has always been a problem with capitalism. Various economic theories try to mitigate part of this problem but it is always there.
