To give the benefit of the doubt: I still ask my mom about everything when I could have just googled it.

You really don't have to. You can't just let people peacefully enjoy their slop, because I promise it's not gonna hurt you.

No, I mean I want her list of muted words. I want to copy them.

Nothing makes me more mad than when I'm not allowed to enjoy my slop in peace 💔

I don't wanna be Luke Skywalker. I don't wanna be the guy who has to blow up the Death Star.

I can appreciate them not putting all their eggs in one basket, but also: if you chase two rabbits, they'll both run away.

(Sora being the last Smash Bros. character on the roster list)
comment in response to post
Dude, I remember Sora's costumes used to load FOREVER because the character select screen loads pngs by order of the roster. Now it takes like 3 or 5 seconds!

I've seen men's mental health month be brought up in good faith like only once, and that's because they actually had really good wording, and wasn't just "Yeah?? Well, you know what else June is for??????"

That, and I think Ultraman Gaia may have been a vague response to that project. Now that I think about it, Japan had quite an environmentalist theme during the early 2000s. I'd even call Mario Sunshine a response to it.

(short-term thinking here)

Not that I know anything about Japanese politics, but I at least know about a controversial land expansion project from decades ago because Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire were based directly off that part of Japan in question. So if they got to make that land, would we still have this rice problem?

It's one thing to have the ability to share your digital stuff with your friends. It's a totally different can of worms when you have to share with *yourself.*

You're telling me I can only play Hulu on one console at a time? That wasn't the case before!

That's not to say I've stopped getting angry when I'm overwhelmed and don't understand something. There's nothing worse than feeling gaslit by reality itself, or feeling like you're a reclusive animal compared to everyone else because *you just don't get it.*

It was through careful, personal, unbiased observation that I had been proven wrong many, many times, and in that acknowledgement that I was wrong, I grew without ever knowing! Would you believe me if I told you that same growth process also occured with Super Smash Bros. character newcomers?

Tell me about it, brother. At some point – maybe it was the autism making me feel alienated from the world – but at some point, a change in mentality happened to me. I stopped hating everything I didn't understand, and I started closely studying alien behavior because I wanted *to understand.*

Thinking maybe when Earth is at its most dire situation, the world finally sees the Ultra's true identity, and when the smoke clears, people don't cheer for him like audiences expect. Instead, out of fear of what they went through, they practically exile him from the planet, and his story continues.

a TV show, but the second it became reality for them, some people start turning and become afraid of the new giant that may or may not be there to protect them. The many dilemmas that come with having godlike power compared to everybody else — and in the hands of a kid, no less.

Well, maybe not Orwellize it, but as he keeps fighting, the authorities that be would definitely want to seize control of him after enough damage – if not outright drive him away for being presumably the origin of this Earth's Kaiju calamities. This Earth started out just worshipping Ultraman as

The youngest Ultra human we've ever had was Ultraman Geed at age 16, but I want mine to be even younger at just 13! The whole series plot would be how this overwhelmed neurodivergent boy handles the powers & responsibilities of being a powerful Ultraman, and how his fights affect the world at large.

One day, I want to make my own official Ultraman anime, and I may just have to take your perspective into consideration. I may need to George Lucas the hell out of my baby, and stuff him full of boring politics! 😁

Hell, maybe I'll let it get passed. See how all the old MAGA families feel when they realize too late they were all expendable.
