TIL you can go into a Burger King and ask for only birthday crowns. I now have 30 of em

I'm feeling a bit lazy rn does anyone have some anime recs?

I met you out of everyone? Fate exists, and you're my proof

Life was vibrant, full of emotions and laughter. Where did it all go? The glitter in our eyes turned to soulless ash, a sign that time marches on and my mind wants to stay in place.

Every like helps affirm that what we're doing on this rock isn't a total waste of time. Someone liked something I did and isn't a paid actor?? That means the world to a nerd like me

sometimes your art is literally fine, you’ve just been staring at it for too long

I may have creative highs n lows, but I will NEVER stoop to the level of using AI. The monkey banging symbols that resides in my head is my true creative overlord

I would love writing feedback if anyone is willing. I decided to go with a more diary/inner dialogue style for this character:

I think my problem with writing is figuring out what pov feels best to write in. Gotta experiment w the vibe, then I'll post a paragraph

Getting sick has made my creative brain awaken but made everything slower. Is this the power of ultra instinct?

The one thing that's making me hesitate to outright post my writing VVVV

I hope she likes it (taffy is her fav)

What if, instead of trying to have a productive writing day, you aimed for a satisfying one instead?

just write and draw the stuff that makes you happy. the stuff that gives you that obsessed feeling. indulge yourself, bro. I mean it. go OFF. use those favourite and familiar tropes, archetypes, designs, who cares? if it gets you creating, that's all that matters, because that's a special thing

Good morning✌️🍀

Having writers block is such a curse, why brain no do the thing? Brain has idea, brain can picture the idea, but brain no good at writing idea. I feel like a caveman

This is great for how much I can share at a time. Huge W for us yappers

hey, you. yeah, you reading this. your life matters. don't ever forget that.

After days of brewing a boogeyman group for the setting I've come up with the Onyx Assembly. The premise behind them is simple: create fear centered around their presence so no one looks at what they actually do. Difference races from all across the setting know of them, but no one understands them

KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS LOW PLEASE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO WRITE

Taking 5 hours to meticulously name and describe characters that will be mentioned once in the story is my toxic trait. I'm not sorry, it will happen again

My goals for this book I'm revising is to make people laugh, cry, feel despair, and hope... and awkwardly wince while muttering under their breath "...what the fuck?" as they slowly put the book down and stare at a wall before picking it back up again with a lurking sense of dread. Normal stuff.

HOW DO SOME PEOPLE WRITE EIGHTY NOVELS

Remember, bro, acknowledge those small wins. internalize them. Write/draw for the first time in a while? Manage to after a rough day? Don't downplay it. "I could do better" yeah, technically, we all can. But that doesn't invalidate those Ws. They pave the way to even bigger ones. You're on your way

Reminder that sharing posts helps a lot on Bluesky. Even if you more of lurker, simply liking/reposting someone's post will likely mean a lot to them so they know that people are actively still around. This also helps others discover them on here.

After staying up well into the a.m. I got the naming convention for both regions and a royal family for my story. I felt as if I was in a trance, and then out of nowhere, it all fell into place. Writing really is a whole new type of hobby

You ever want to write fanfiction about your OCs and then realize it wouldn't even be fanfiction just.............. fiction...

Realizing that my ideas, writing and maybe someday art won't be aimed for a mass audience has helped me to actually pursue this hobby openly rather than daydream it. To do stuff for your group of weirdos is the greatest feeling because support is so crucial when starting something for the first time

Figuring out how to convey just how vast and suffocatingly lonely space is would be one of my favorite scenes to make in a fantasy writing sense. No gods, no space pirates, no sane explorers. Colors spread across an infinite empty that reminds you about the fragile bubble of mortality the planet has
