You need The Watchmaker of Filigree Street for full octopodal goodness

Signal went wobbly on my computers a few days ago - I noticed when it occurred to me I'd not spoken to you for ages. I *think* it's back now

I found myself watching videos about people being scammed by these type of accounts. It's terrifying the sort of nonsense people will believe. Then I got one of my very own! So sweet, following the script to the letter. Does make me wonder about a sideline as a scammer though, seems profitable...

Not yet, but I may adopt 'Daddy Chrimbo' and try to convince people that's what I've always called him :-D

It is - although it can lead to prolonged debates when we need to decide on the next series to watch. We have things like "Would I Lie to You" as filler shows in the debate periods :-D

Lamy Safaris as workhorse for me and a Twsbi that lives on my desk. If it posted I'd use it more, but it's still a great pen.

I 2 or 3 Lamys always around a local auction place had a Twsbi on sale a few months ago, no one else was interested so I got it for £QuiteCheap. That's the one that lives on my desk. I don't take it out and about as it doesn't post (the lid doesn't sit on the end, has to stay separate when writing)

Beautiful! I was in the Cotswolds last weekend - I only live a short drive away anyway - it was far too hot and sunny to look anything like this. I far prefer this version.

I had notification that it landed on my Kindle this morning - I've had it on pre-order since Eastercon. Very much looking forward to reading it!

I was 3 1/2 and - I am told - was got out of bed at 3am or so to watch the landing. I remember nothing of this, but knowing how much I like undisturbed sleep I can't imagine I was as impressed as the parental hoped I'd be.
