Storyhive...that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Check out the ACX delivery specs sometime. Those are wild too 😅

Sega Genesis for me!

No such thing as a bad one. I'm partial to Howl's Moving Castle. Kiki is very good too. It's in my top 5.

What's your favourite Ghibli movie?

I'm more likely to lose access to my account from 2FA gone wrong. All the breeches lately haven't been user caused but back end so 2FA won't help you there anyway

Your 20s is a trial run of adulthood is what I learned in retrospect. Everything that I learned at 23 is obsolete and when looking back kinda oof but it's all a part of the process of growing as a person

A set amount of revisions included before they need to pay per round of notes is what I use when it's a project fee scenario

It was hard when I started too. Never got into a traditional place. Internships weren't a thing. The mantra was "work for free to gain experience and exposure bucks". Maybe if I was in the US but from Canada it's was hard and still is

Definitely less but there is some. If I'm worried it being too dark I use a pair of rode mics (the name escapes me I'll look for it later) and make like a triangle formation with the three mics & run em thru autoalign post after to tighten it up
comment in response to post
I've done this a few times. Needs a bit of EQ tweaking after but depending on the mic it's not terrible
comment in response to post
Do you have any socks to put on the mic? Maybe not ideal but what about using a shotgun mic overhead?

Once but more times than not, no

Last ditch effort have you tried the pencil trick to disperse the air?

I never played the OG but slowly doing the remaster now. I like it so far. But your sad adventure bear is super adorable btw

You should. I would give money to crowdfund another game with that cast being back for another story or turning the Blue Wraith story into a game
comment in response to post
If you haven't read the Blue Wraith comics you should definitely check those out cuz reasons 👀👀

A lot of mine are from previous reviews so they are pretty niche. Some sound good. Some...not so much 😅

yea I don't really want to create 200 episode pages for someone else just to add myself and I don't have all the details anyway 😅

I've written and have had 43 articles published. I would love to be able to do more of that for money on more topics tbh

It's even worse in the indie scene. Bro fest and choosing VAs with no sound background to do the sound which has drastically plummeted fees for audio people to the point idk if I'm going to survive
comment in response to post
I frequent from the shadows mostly. Most of my work comes from word of mouth these days. I rarely see a paid call for sound people unfortunately 😕

I'm mostly tumbleweeds for reach and engagement these days too. Hasn't been this quiet since I first started with them

even if they get caught the judges just let them go. I've stopped reading police reports because it's always repeat offenders in an infinite loop of catch and release. I don't feel safe anymore. This isn't the Canada I grew up in :/

*cries in Canadian* In a rough exchange with taxes that's around $130. I was only willing to pay that for a deluxe version that comes with a bunch of stuff, not a base game.
comment in response to post
I'll be skipping out one this one unless they release a lite version. It'll be around $650 CAD with games being around $130 for "physical". That's all a hard nope

I just want an OS that doesn't brick my machine from a bad update or a resource hog just idling (win11) 😅

It does until you break something...😅

I installed Visions of Mana last night and the music on the home screen seemed nice
