In most cases, your employer cannot compel you to take a polygraph and, if they do, cannot use the results as the basis for adverse action. So, like Parks says, get some professional advice. Bc the best thing for you is never to take it at all, if that’s an option. LEAs are a little different.

Major news! A court in Montana has just declared SB458, a bill that "defines sex" in a way that ends the legal recognition of transgender people in Montana, as facially unconstitutional. This is the first time a bill defining sex has been ruled on! Huge win for trans people in MT!

Let me speak to the DOGE audit language. Many people who work in both the Treasury and specifically the IRS are CPAs. Most audit firms hire CPAs. A 19yo coder has absolutely no idea how to accurately identify waste or fraud. Calling what DOGE is doing as a audit, is a flat out lie.

So i can't cancel my credit card with either JC Penny or Best Buy because they decided to change the name on my account to my previous name. I legally changed my name on all my documents in 2011. I opened these cards under my new name in 2023 and 2014 respectively. Any CFPB attorneys out there?
