he’s not a king, we shouldn’t allow that even jokingly.

yes! @runforsomething.net has an incredible team who helps people run for things in their districts. Highly recommend them.

I probably wont be able to get BB to change my name back in the current political climate sadly

JC Penny account successfully closed. Just had to nudge em with threats of litigation 🙄 Decided to keep my Best Buy card cuz credit history is long enough to mess with my average Unrelated: put fraud alerts on all my cred reports for musky reasons Also unrelated: PNC still down. It's been 3 days

realistically speaking that would be tough without insider knowledge from the senior employees

The EO is only about the executive branch and explicitly states it has no power over the other two branches. Please read it www.whitehouse.gov/presidential... I hate the guy too but we need to be telling it how it is. This is STILL BAD, but not as bad as saying congress is now moot

Mind you im not blaming @altmusician.bsky.social for their reaction. They're a good well-meaning bean. I just think that GUU is a bit sketchy since they dont seem to consider donation dates in their metrics and that one should find a link to something to make sure that it's still relevant.

Did some extra searching and found the original release upload.democraticunderground.com/100219869539 and the list on democratsabroad was probably deleted www.democratsabroad.org/companies_th...

GUU: "Where does our data come from? What are our metrics? Wouldn't you like to know." www.goodsuniteus.com/2018/09/29/w...

From the research ive done into GoodsUniteUs they dont factor donation dates into their metrics, and they as a company dont actually disclose what their metrics are. P2025 was released in 2023. I'd consider any donations prior to that to not be "openly supporting project 2025"

and wages are higher in comparison for most people. I'm almost tempted to feel like the sweatshops we've all been told about are some form of propaganda too but that said I think every country does have some labor violations somewhere

I think my favorite thing I've learned so far is just how affordable everything is. Even supercars are in the 100k USD range instead of millions like here. Most of those cars are banned in the US for no reason other than that US companies can't profit off them. Food, medical (inc HRT/surg), etc too

the TOS on Xiahongshu is relatively aggressive towards hostile parties at least so the MAGAts will probably get nuked relatively fast if they start making content

Re 1) he used to, and it was mostly to republicans (other members of company have donated to a mix with a leaning towards R) Re 2) nothing since 2020 from Bert Beveridge
comment in response to post
1) Actions speak louder than words www.opensecrets.org/donor-lookup... 2) to be fair the data on GoodsUniteUs doesn't seem to take dates of donations into consideration. Something worth crossreferencing on opensecrets.org @altmusician.bsky.social

Among other reasons: orphans who grew up.

There's some nuance to my hot take. Part of it is targeting those who think they don't have the means to pick themselves up and go find something else (many retirees). The other part is pissing off the wrong ppl vs complacent ones. If he purges someone with mafia / cartel ties, it's FAFO time.
