C0mms will be open until the end of this week, and then closing for two weeks so I can work on them before a family holiday, and then hopefully opening again soon thereafter.

tldr - I would say that skipping what I believe is a foundational step of making a well thought-out cover/arrangement by using AI is a bit of a cop-out, and feels like they're less bothered about creating for the sake of it and more like they wanna get their ad revenue quicker and easier, lol (4/4)

Though I get a bit more involved and create my own MIDI/stems to use, I'd say that taking a MIDI and assigning instruments yourself is more creatively fulfilling than using AI for it - the latter just comes across as only doing it to churn out covers of nostalgic songs for content's sake :P (3/4)

For myself, one of the most enjoyable elements of writing a modernised cover of older game music is actively engaging in the thought process of "I wonder which instrument they intended for this melody to sound like?" (2/4)

As someone who has made their own modern covers/arrangements of older gen Pokémon music, I just see delegating picking the instruments to AI as a bit lazy? Or at the least, creatively uninspired. (1/4)
