I think around here that is the case, but there a lot of really wonderful folks who I grew up with in the midwest who bought into the propaganda and haven't had the life experiences to smell the bullshit, nor the education on how to examine media critically.

That was the best alt text I've ever read. Accessibility for us who don't play as often 😂

But most of all, outside the "living local" mentality and supporting those that work hard here, make it damn clear that you don't tolerate fascism, and that you'll fight for others

Show up to the history tours, listen, and tip the guides. They are doing so much of the heavy lifting this week. Try to eat local as much as possible. Some towns are having restaurant weeks!

We grabbed shawarma from Black Seed Halal in Boston. The place was packed, and folks were talking and still organizing. Brunch seems like a fantastic place to organize!

Wu: "Boston is not a city that tolerates tyranny. We are the city that leads in the storm; that stands up under pressure, together; and finds strength in each other. We will defend the people we love with all that we’ve got. I couldn’t ask for more in a family."

My veteran grandfather passed last year. He cried during the insurrection... And spent the years up to his death arguing with my father about the choices he's made and how we are barreling toward fascism. It's a small mercy that he doesn't have to deal with our current reality 😭
