In 1994, Matter Eater Lad swapped genders for 2 issues of Legionnaires. The 2nd of those issues was inked by Justine Mara Andersen, who came our as trans years later in 2014. There's officially published trams Matter Eater Lad art that's decades old and I think that means we get to claim her now.

I love this. No matter how hard Byrne to erase Superboy, Clark always comes back to it. Because that's what who he is. A kid who wanted to belong. Just a boy who wanted to help. Had his powers manifested earlier, Post-Crisis Clark would've been Superboy, too.
