The revelations make Gaiman sound like a vile character in the Sandman universe. Now that it's clear that universe was plagiarised, a story featuring the true Gaiman can be written within it, accounting for these facts, and restoring authorship of the Dream Kingdom and other realms to Tanith Lee.

Thanks for this. Tanith Lee deserved much better.

Endspiel (the description reminds me of nothing so much as the play, Endgame, presumably more final in German).

Looking forward to this with great excitement. A new (in English) Bioy Casares is an event, and on Borges too.

Conjured dialogue, a bit like Jef in Vanished!? I'm reading my way through A Court of Miracles. It's exhausting, like recovering from an operation with the aid of drugs. No rewards without bruises. Are there any attempts at interpretation out there?

Certainly one of my favourite writers, although I can't pick a favourite from among his books. Currently on 12+1...

I became hooked on Sciascia after reading that very title. Very subtle, very philosophical, profoundly unnerving on occasion.

Equally lost, but not dismal. A nice change.

Damn, I missed this. Could have come in handy with the Bruno kick I've developed...

Sounds on par for Gerald. I suspect he'd have loved such straws.

I once dreamt I was riding with Gérard de Nerval. We were riding giant hairy spiders across a vast swamp. It wasn't clear the nature of the mission.
