我在北京生活那十年，最担心的是楼房失火，没有烟雾警报器（从美国买了带过去，发现装起来麻烦），没有自动喷水设备，没有逃生通道，没有房屋保险，完全是听天由命，没遇到失火是命大。中国在很多方面还处于中世纪，却要嘲笑加州这也不行那也不行。加州的华人川粉真应该回中国去享受没有野火的生活。

很多人对奥巴马医健有误解。奥巴马医健是美国几十年来医保最大的改革，突破了华尔街、医保业的阻力，也因此让代表资本利益的川普、共和党非常痛恨。它主要有三条：一、医保公司不能因为你有病就拒绝卖医保给你。二、预防服务（疫苗、筛查、产前检查等）免费。三、对家庭收入在贫困线133%到400%之间的人根据收入多少补贴保费。虽然保费高，但对收入中等偏下的家庭其实不用付或只付一部分，负担并不重。收入在贫困线133%以下的，则用政府免费医保。保费负担重的是收入中等偏上（贫困线400%以上）的65岁以下人群。65岁以上可享用低价的政府医保。
