In 1974, Milk helped the Teamsters organize a boycott of Coors beer. In return, they agreed to hire openly gay drivers. It was one of the first labor LGBTQ+ alliances of its kind.

Hey, still beats 2% and I’m quite fond of judging the stupid assholes in my own country’s past (and present)

and that’s fair enough rather than deliberate dipshittery, yes - but as an example imagine peering into a nudged timeline where you’d grown up in a deforested NZ. Obviously that version you wouldn’t know it, but would it not be a shame nonetheless from your current perspective as a you that didn’t?

If I may be so indulgent, perhaps certain space Slav synthetics - but more generally, perhaps tender moments OF lesbian cuteness. Yknow, little reprieves

which again is the entire tragedy and part of OP’s point about the scale of the loss, because having forests accessible is pretty neat.

Personally I would not shit my pants, and when people remark on the smell, shit then again, and when suggested ways to ameliorate the issue go HEH IM LAUGHING AT YOU as you shit your pants another time. Like alright, enjoy laughing with pants full of shit. Woe betide.

I have, in fact, been out of the country before and am currently waiting on my reupped passport to show up in the mail as we speak. Anyway, sucks for the Welsh and other British residents that they have so little forest despite a climate that could probably support far more than they have.

It’s almost as if someone understanding you is more likely when they’re being sincere in what they’re saying rather than being a deliberately insincere Gish-galloping troglodyte, yes.

taking pride in deliberately being an obtuse disingenuous pearlclutching nitwit is quite odd and I would say far more risible than backing up rhetoric with actual evidence, perhaps someday you’ll realize gloating over insincerity makes you the dipshit in the equation

I am not referring to you here, dimwit, nor anyone in this reply chain

you’re the one who brought up Arkansas, moron.

Your primary mode of rhetoric seems to be things mattering, then not matter, then mattering again, then not mattering as us convenient to your argument and at several points you’ve made assertions that are confidently wrong and I suppose if an idiot finds me laughable that beats sharing their stance

I’m sorry that my remark on having had multiple brits act like the new forest was some harsh wilderness survival story and comparable to actual wilderness like here and in NZ has ruffled your feathers that much.

the numbers again disagree with you

… which again is part of my point, most of my trips to national forest preserves involve navigating by physical map and compass because it’s actual wilderness.
