Next in PNW move books: Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore Fun, but gutting at times, time-bending work all about living in the moment. I described it as the personal side of a time-travel novel I’d been looking for. Good medicine for my “did I make the right call?” moments. #booksky

Next in PNW move books: “Believe what you believe, my dear, but believe gently. Believe compassionately. Believe with curiosity. Believe with humility. And don’t trust the arrogance of certainty.” Wellness by Nathan Hill Flawed people, failure, adulthood & “good vibes only”. Excellent ☺️ #booksky

Next favorite book read since the PNW move: Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro Captivating work that had me grappling with what it means to be human. To be read with caution to avoid existential crises. I loved it & struggled with it at times. A masterful work written by an expert. #booksky

Next PNW books are a bit of a cheat. I had read the 1st book prior to moving 😬 The Children of Time series by Adrian Tchaikovsky @aptshadow.bsky.social 3rd book was my favorite; I’ll die on this hill. All beautifully thought out & executed. Exciting futuristic sci-fi w/o losing hope. ❤️ #booksky

Next up in books read since moving to the PNW: Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver Shew… what a book. This take of David Copperfield in Appalachia is gripping, emotional, & honest. My heart ached for back home while reading. Some of us knew this story & had our lives shaped by it. #booksky

Next in books: “We are the explorers who carry our names. We are the parents who lead the way. We are the children who continue on.” - Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers Each book brought its own growth & discovery. Quietly powerful & moving. #thewayfarerseries #booksky #spaceopera

I want to spend time reflecting on the books & series that struck me the hardest moving to the PNW. Book #1: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. The first book I read after we moved. Beautiful, powerful, & difficult at times. Deeply emotional. I loved it. #themidnightlibrary #matthaig #booksky

Happy #Caturday to this goober 😻

I think today was my first time reading in the office, becoming upset, shoving stuff off my desk, and shouting, “Fuck”.

I heard it was #waterfallWednesday so I thought I’d show off my favorite #waterfall at the moment 🥰 Taken October, 2024 #pnw #photography

Relevant…. And not just because of when the book takes place. #booksky

Happy International Women's Day to this classic banger
