But we do have measles!

Sort of like how half of congress is being coerced by Trump. And probably a few judges, too.

That’s what I’m thinking. And it’s very scary.

Thank you, WIRED! I’m really going to miss you when we only have state run media.

I wonder at what point Americans will ALL have had enough and if that point will come before it’s too late? Feels a bit like oblivious cattle being led to slaughter.

It takes a lot of time time for things to wind their way through the legal system which, so far, has mostly been holding strong in these recent cases (I’m not talking about Supreme Court rulings that got us here). So in the mean time… the illegality continues unchecked.

Prior to a month ago, it also was difficult in the US. Turns out, if you just act like the laws don’t apply, apparently they don’t.

What they are saying is that they immediately had all accesses revoked and were locked out of the building. So there would be no strolling in the next morning. Hopefully they’ll have a good lawsuit since it’s obviously not personalized or based on any performance issue, but a lawyer costs money.

Wasn’t this a VEEP episode?

Now is the time to jump on the bandwagon of what more courageous entities have been reporting for weeks. Now that there are literal protests in the streets to provide cover. Tomorrow? Eh, we’ll see which way the wind is blowing then.

Wired was on the ground floor of this and has been breaking every important story. I’ve subscribed in the last week. We have to support the ones who are doing good work and don’t answer to some rich asshole with an agenda.

Racism and advocacy for eugenics. Why resign? Shouldn’t that fast track him for a cabinet position in our current administration?

Sells it or even IF none of them have bad intentions (ha!) their incompetence and mishandling of the data left it easily open to whichever bad actor wants to access. Employees have already had their government emails spammed and personal cells harassed with fake messages from OPM. It’s already out.

Yeah. I don’t exactly consider this a “win” at this point.

I’m not rooting for anyone (else) to suffer more than they already have but at the point where you’re messing with people's medicare, social security benefits, VA services… you may get the attention of the ENTIRE country with that.

Who among them is actually getting clearances?

Who do you believe will give them the order to step in?

No I legitimately think it’s a good question! It seems like they SHOULD be part of a class action. But once you sign your rights away… Not sure if there is a road. Also interesting, terms of the “offer” keep changing. So are people who signed without knowing the full limitations entitled anything?
comment in response to post
You are specifically signing that you waive the right to legal recourse when the government doesn’t pay out. So… that part seems bad. I don’t know. Maybe the fact that it was intentionally misleading/ offered in bad faith and coercive (take this now or we’ll likely fire you all) might help?

Thank you! I was just checking my podcast lineup this morning thinking Guys, I think we’re gonna need you more than twice a week! While we can still speak publicly, that is.

Pretty sad, can’t dig up a single Republican with an ounce of integrity. They’ll sit by and watch the whole system crumble if it maybe earns them a prime position in the new regime. They should all ultimately be charged. Failure to uphold their oath— for STARTERS.

Damn straight!!! Please don’t get caught up in all of Trump’s idiocy while Elon is in the background destroying government agencies and democracy. THAT is the most pressing issue. If we don’t stop that, there will be nothing else to worry about or repair.

It’s only the future of our democracy on the line. ALL of your democratic coworkers need to also start showing up in a big way. Thank you! (From a federal worker and constituent)
