My son and I would like to thank everyone we know who voted for this- his transportation is provided by federal grants because there is ONE school in Ohio that will teach him speech and asl. Our only other option is private school he would have to live at and I would have to pay out of pocket.

Went to a cool toy store yesterday and they had a giant dinosaur. The dinosaur had a butthole. Obviously I had to take a photo, as the adult leading around three teenagers in public. Weird moms build character.

I found a stained glass supply store and I think I found heaven. They had crates on crates of VanGogh glass, neons, 4 foot slabs even! They had patterned glass, beveled glass, fusing glass, and every supply I've ever needed, plus some I had no clue existed. I am SO stoked to go back!

For a few hours yesterday my son and I lost our insurance. For a few hours yesterday, my son lost his education. My son is deaf and there is one school in the state that teaches ASL with English. I could send him to an expensive private school but he would live there for 5 days a week.

No answer as to why my lymph node is swollen, but my blood tests came back normal! I'm anemic and looking at my charts it looks like I've BEEN anemic since last year and nobody told me, but hey! It's not cancer!

Trying to take pictures of my new glasses to send to my mom when my partner jumps in. Almost 7 years together, 7 years of learning sign for my deaf son, 7 years of being there for me through chronic illness, 7 years of never faltering as my rock. I love this man so much.

Noticed a weird lump in my neck Tuesday, by Wednesday I was drained of all energy. Today I get to go have bloodwork done to rule out cancer. Did yall know swollen lymph nodes, exhaustion, and night sweats are all symptoms of Lymphoma? Neither did I, but now you know.
