There are some fan cuts of the movie with the missing pieces added but I think the first time through just watching the movie is fine, especially since some of the cuts are ~4 hours lol

There's 3 season and a movie, and then the movie has a bunch of missing material that was released in ~2014, some of which definitely inspired Lynch when he made season 3. Watch order is 1, 2, movie, missing pieces if you want, season 3.
