Frederick McKinley Jones developed refrigeration equipment for trucks, trains, ships, & planes. The Thermo King, allowed people to eat fresh food year-round. Also preservation of blood and medicine, during WWII. In 1991, he became the 1st African American to receive the National Medal of Technology.

Go try that in Germany dumbass. But Post-1945. Today in Germany, Nazi salutes in written form, vocally, and even straight-extending the right arm as a saluting gesture (with or without the phrase), are illegal. The offence is punishable by up to three years in prison (Strafgesetzbuch section 86a).
