I have a good flip dumb phone now. It's got features even just in case but it's too slow to doom scroll. It's helped but this all follows me onto my desktop and I frequently feel like I'm picking between lonely silence or screams of pain in my ears most days.

We have been trying to expand our light rails here for years and I literally heard someone in a lobby once saying he voted no word for word because "I'm a white Christian male, I would get murdered if I ever rode the damn thing." Affluent Americans are nuts thinking about ever taking public transit.

I'm fascinated by how bad their attempt at the easiest slam dunk went. VRC is jank. It's safety for children is very questionable, you have mismatched whatever's that perform poorly, games feel held together with duct tape. And still people would rather become indy game devs than use Horizons.

It could've worked if their focus was fun first and put that money to making it a less jank VRC with monetization and average practices, maybe big VR events. Instead he tried to sell us an everything but nothing program that showed off more virtual boardrooms than anywhere we'd want to go.

You really wanna put yourself next to a Nazi? There's plenty of others you could name drop. Maybe not write this at all even.

I just had a talk with some uninformed people on it yesterday. Seems like the common view I've found was "Atheists come to be killjoys about a magician trying to bring smiles to everyone!", not knowing Uri was actually trying to convince people he was psychic and got military contracts out of it.

I get why. During it's advertising was super heavy on "Look how edgy we are, we're embracing and referencing mass shooters!", to the point that I was embarrassed to see anyone sold on its advertising. It's apparently an okay game and so absurd it's like Postal 1, but they were aiming to be banned.

ACDC and thinks it's a little known obscure band.
