That would have absolutely stung, I am sure! I'm glad that you don't have to comb through any bee remnants! I'd have just brooded over it for ages, and waxed on and on about it.

That's awesome! I'm sure you are abuzz with excitement! Sorry, don't mean to drone on - but I've never had a beehive and I am royally jelly!

oh my gosh, they probably had multiple rehearsals over days if not weeks, just hours of practicing and choreographing

What's so enraging is that the "clubby atmosphere" is clearly fostering "I can say awful things and it's awesome!" instead of "Gee, I should try not to recklessly burn large amounts of (largely unearned) social capital by cruel shitposting."

Be that as it may, I hope the staffer felt at least a little catharsis in articulating it.

I didn't realize the pizza party moved, and this helped me find the episode you christened the channel with a few months back! I loved the discussion of success, and your entreaty at the end for connection and support. Thanks, Joey.

IIRC, bugfixes, as well as some changes like allowing for more detailed templates and plugin specifications. I was able to import my custom RevealJS setup into it pretty easily, for instance.

I use Slides Extended, the fork of that, and I wrote a script to export from Kanban right to it. My most used plugin is probably the one I wrote, "contextual sidecar," with lots of different panels include meta-bind buttons, dataview queries and templater actions. I'll check out Beautitab...

While there are often periods when the Commission has a vacancy without issue, a preemptive removal creates many issues.
First: we're approaching the end of NRC Chair Wright's term as well with no replacement nomination (or renomination) in the Senate yet.
This begins to threaten quorum.

And I *did* finish my web app for the rune panels, but I didn't end up using it during the game ... but I'm going to make a few more changes and post it publicly because it was just too much fun.

I went and read some contemporarenous reviews and they were middling. The movie had a decent box office, but mostly met with both commerical and critical "meh". But I think it's genuinely outstanding.

Have you seen the press kit? It's *amazing*. Archive.org has an emulated version of it:

That movie is incredible top to bottom, and I have used Whistler's audio-to-map journey in classes as a demonstration of storytelling and (even) manifold remapping of variables.

Whenever I think of all the Mueller Time stuff I remember Luke in The Last Jedi, which came out in 2017 as well.
"You think I'm gonna walk out with a laser sword and face down the whole First Order?"
It's up to all of us! No magic bullets!

I can forecast for you that every smug housecat who had a big problem with Loretta Lynch saying hello to Bill Clinton at an airport won’t say a mumbling word about preserving DOJ or law enforcement independence now.

I mean, just think how you'd feel if this were reversed, and MAGA had turned out hundreds of thousands of people across the country. I know I'd feel pretty terrified and traumatized.
