There are 7 chickens in this picture

Rod serling is genuinely one of the most impressive behavior and social system philosophers in the history of humanity. That dude did more in 22 min than all of academia has in the time since.

I hate that they sell chickens in bins with a loose description of the physical characteristics and no real attempt to explain the temperament and social needs of the breed.

8 hours in the studio with a 12 hour turn around and then 2 hours teaching people parts on guitar, 2 hours of drums(apparently im good at drums now) 2 hours of jamming deep cuts on bass. Maybe first house party out of retirement this weekend.(probably acoustic)

Just saw an interview with Jane Borden, author of "cults like us" and she's smart af and has a really astute perspective that I believe is really relevant right now. @janeborden.bsky.social Her insight is deep and I don't think ive heard some these thoughts expressed at this level before.

My girlfriends favorite hen. It adores her, and those are bantam frizzle cochin. The babies are a like a month and a half old. Fucking adorable and they'll pretty much just look like that forever. She got a pairing of her favorite rooster and this hen. We couldn't be happier.

My girlfriend, after getting fired for being dei(their words) decided to volunteer at the food bank instead. Im really proud of her.

Social media is weird, people on here pretend like theyre passengers in their own life, just waiting and complaining until things get fixed. Go out in the real world, get a following there. You'll get a lot more done with 10 real life followers over 10k internet ones.

Did 2 4 hour bass jams this week. I could feel my fingers shredding in real time. Im about to be in the "blistered fingers" phase of unretiring. This is what my dumbass gets for doing piano and synths almost exclusively for a decade.

Lesson learned to never cheap out on these things.

This one was really fun. There are some toys to play with, shit that truly should not exist which I prove at the end in the screenshots. You can just read the screenshots, as with most of my stuff its not designed for human consumption without a llm. pissbot90000.substack.com/p/greatest-h...

If my love language was having people make demands of me, ignore or argue with my refusal and get upset at me for being indignant about the blatant disrespect, id be the happiest person

Its good to be done with all that messy office work with all the guitars and feedback so I can spend a couple days working on art again. pissbot90000.substack.com/p/say-hi Its so cool that we have tech that can do this and people are worried about how it spells or codes.

Last night was my girlfriend's first "band girlfriend" experience and she's a natural. She was sooooooo convinced that she wanted to be one. And I was sooooooo convinced that she would hate it. I was wrong, as usual

Being good at understanding behavioral patterns is actual torture. I'll be like, hey, you're on a direct path to do x dumb thing, you need to make different choices. And they're like, there's no way *steps on rake* And I get to choose between the "I told you so" and uncomfortable silence.

Surprise Surprise, the reunion went well. I also have a situation where a third party is trying to jam me into a band that I don't know is really looking for the kind of hands on critique and attention to detail that I bring.

Why even own more than one snare if one of them is a black beauty... sigh. .. drummers... as least he has right one somewhere in there.

Doing a little pre game recording, just to keep myself busy until the main event. It's pretty good for a 4 channel with a e935 for vox, a 57 on the bass and snare and whatever the fuck kick mic comes with the cheap shure drum mic kit.
