Microsoft added AI text features to Notepad. Usually, I'd be angry about touching Notepad, like Paint, should remain pure. I'm more upset they didn't use RWKV or something local, you still send the data to their cloud instance. Wasted opportunity.

We should make sure that only really big companies can afford to pay really big copyright holders to access the data needed to do stuff with AI, and keep everyone else out. Wouldn’t that be just super?

Be very careful which block lists you subscribe to!!! I subbed to the lists of @skysentry.bsky.social and got a message from @presidentlin.bsky.social on Twitter on why I blocked him. Turns out he got put on the „Spambots and Scammers“ list without doing anything wrong (imo) 😕
