Yeah 100%. Imo I prefer the tasks disappearing for a cleaner ui. But I agree there should be an intuitive way of quickly checking what you've achieved in a day. It's something I'm working on incorporating into my app

I like that, it's like completing a task twice

That's super helpful to hear, thanks for your perspective. I think we've all been caught in the trap of spending hours setting up the "perfect" project management system, convincing ourselves we're being productive

Oooo that's very cool 😍

This is how the UI is looking at the moment, but I'm going to be sprucing it up this week and hopefully releasing and MVP next week 🤞 bsky.app/profile/prev...

Can't agree more that simpler is better, especially when it's all in one ecosystem like that. Do you find that it all works for you?

I'm working on a way of tracking projects and tasks in a way that actually motivates you to get them done through various techniques, gamification being one of them.

I also appreciate how you said all these todo apps are all almost perfect, but none quick tick all the boxes (pardon the pun)

I know what you mean it can all get out of control incredibly quickly. I've just been looking at the project you linked and it looks really cool, love the UI and the task/ subtask structure.

Ahh a kanban man. I love how easy Trello is to set up, especially with all the templates. Any shortcomings in your experience?

I'm working on a solution to this!

In my opinion there's too many moving parts and too much overhead for not that much gain. Imo most of the projects that use Redux don't need it and would be fine with a simple useReducer, or even better use react-query to manage state
comment in response to post
I would rather track state with pen and paper than use Redux
